JD.com’s billionaire founder Richard Liu won’t be charged in sexual misconduct case
Around four months after JD.com's tycoon CEO Richard Liu was captured and later discharged by Minneapolis police on doubt of supposed sexual offense, neighborhood specialists state they won't charge him in a sexual wrongdoing case. In an announcement, Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman said it was unrealistic to demonstrate past a sensible uncertainty the charges brought against Liu.
"Similar to the case in numerous rape episodes, it was a confounded circumstance," said Freeman in the discharge. "It is additionally like other rape cases with the suspect keeping up the sex was consensual."
A lawyer for the informer — a Chinese undergrad who was learning at the University of Minnesota this fall — cautioned in a meeting with the WSJ that "her story will be told."

JD.com, one of China's biggest online retailers, has from the start called the allegations unconfirmed, with Liu denying all bad behavior.
