New companies taking an interest in the Startup Battlefield have all been hand-picked to partake in our very focused startup rivalry. They all introduced before various gatherings of VCs and tech pioneers filling in as judges for an opportunity to win $50,000 and the desired Disrupt Cup.
Night-time of consultations, TechCrunch editors pored over the judges' notes and limited the rundown down to five finalists: Imago AI, Kalepso, Legacy, Polyteia and Spike.
These new businesses advanced toward the finale to demo before our last board of judges, which included: Sophia Bendz (Atomico), Niko Bonatsos (General Catalyst), Luciana Luxandru (Accel), Ida Tin (Clue), Matt Turck (FirstMark Capital) and Matthew Panzarino (TechCrunch).
